We reported Tuesday that Lady Gaga had debuted on the list of Forbes 100 most powerful celebrities. Now that we know Gaga’s 2009 salary, this new report that she’s house-hunting in the Hamptons comes as no surprise! We have the details on the mansions that Gaga’s seeking out.

Last week it was reported that while Lady Gaga was enjoying (er, over-enjoying) some time off in New York City, she took a trip to the east side of Long Island to visit the uber-posh seaside resort that is the Hamptons.

It’s reported that Gaga toured “prime properties” in Water Mill, Sagaponack and Bridgehampton and that she seeks a “very upscale” home near the Atlantic Ocean. Apparently Gaga is working with realtor Linda Haugevik, who recently sold Richard Gere’s Water Mill property for $5.9 million.

It’s reported that Gaga’s major requirement for a home is an extreme degree of privacy. Considering her recent lapdance rendezvous in a strip club with an old flame, it’s no wonder Lady Gaga wants to keep to herself!

Can you imagine her in the Hamptons? Well, yes: of the 55,000 people who are said to live in Southampton, the median salary is a reported $65,000. Lady Gaga’s 2009 earnings were almost a hundred times that!

Lady Gaga leapfrogs Obama in race to 10 million on Facebook

WASHINGTON (AFP) – Facebook users are gaga over Lady Gaga and the pop star has surged past US President Barack Obama in the race to become the first person with 10 million fans on the social network.


The first living person, that is. A Michael Jackson remembrance page has attracted more than 14 million fans.

Lady Gaga, who is as well-known for her bizarre outfits as her chart-topping music, had 9.76 million Facebook fans on Thursday.

Obama had 9.41 million.

The US president had more Facebook fans than Lady Gaga last week but she has pulled ahead in recent days.

Lady Gaga's Twitter account, @ladygaga, has also attracted more followers than Obama's @barackobama account, which, like his Facebook page, is managed by his political arm Organizing for America.

The @ladygaga account has 4.72 million followers while @barackobama has 4.42 million. The official White House account, @whitehouse, has a mere 1.77 million followers.

Lady Gaga may have topped Obama on Facebook and Twitter but another pop star holds the title for largest number of followers on the micro-blogging service -- Britney Spears, who has 5.24 million followers for @britneyspears.

Lady Gaga 'Poses As A Man'

LADY GAGA is set to shock fans with a controversial new photoshoot - the pop star has reportedly posed as a man.

A series of pictures taken for an upcoming issue of Japan's Vogue Hommes magazine have surfaced online and appear to show the singer styled as a boy, sporting a short black crop and a man's suit.

The shots were taken by famed photographer Nick Knight and arranged by Gaga's stylist Nicola Formichetti.

Formichetti shared the pictures with fans on Twitter.com, and credited the 'male' model as Jo Calderone, but sparked rumours the subject is in fact the superstar by writing, "Lady Gaga as a boy for Vogue Hommes Japan?"

After an hour, the bar patrons started to notice her too. A couple little stares here and there turned into full on gawking and even a few courageous fans going over to talk to her. The bar became packed after fans tweeted and texted to say who was at this bar off the grid of Boston proper.

Lady Gaga Thanks Fans For BET Awards Win With Beyonce

Jay-Z was nominated for two Video of the Year prizes at the BET Awards, but it was his wife, Beyoncé, who took home the trophy on Sunday night, for "Video Phone," her splashy collaboration with Lady Gaga.

And Gaga — who plays second billing on that particular collaboration, which is not to be confused with their work on "Telephone" — didn't wait too long to take to her Twitter to thank her fans for the prize. She wrote, "Thank you so much for my first BET award ever, with Honey B! Videophone won VIDEO OF THE YEAR! Paws up for B! X Mother Monster."

The girls were up against such other worthy contenders as Jay-Z, Kanye West and Rihanna ("Run This Town"), Jay-Z and Alicia Keys ("Empire State of Mind"), B.o.B. and Bruno Mars ("Nothin' on You") and Melanie Fiona ("It Kills Me").

The "Video Phone" clip premiered late last year and was only a prelude to what fans could expect from the ladies in Gaga's "Telephone" video. In November, Gaga admitted that she went into the video shoot in the Beyoncé headspace. "I said, 'I want to do you in your video, and I want to tribute you. I want to dress up like you,' " she recalled telling her co-star. "And [director] Hype Williams ... was so excited. He was like, 'Gaga, I want no makeup on your face.' It was really stripped down — real Beyoncé hair, and we wore the same outfit in the video, and I [paid tribute to] her."
