LADY GAGA ONLINE AUCTION FOR THE LUPUS FOUNDATION OF AMERICA

First it was lipstick, now it's her jewelry. Lady Gaga's latest move involves the donation of the necklace she wore in the video for "Poker Face," one of her No. 1 hit singles. The Brian Lichtenberg design went on virtual auctioning block June 15, and will remain there until June 24 when the lowest, unique bidder will take home the coveted piece. Lowest number wins... The goal of the reverse-auction site, co-founded by Nick Lachey, is to bid the amount closest to zero that no one else has bid yet. Users pay $1 for each bid placed and proceeds go to a variety of causes. In this case, Gaga has chosen The Lupus Foundation of America as the beneficiary of the winnings. Lupus, a chronic, autoimmune disease that can damage any part of the body (skin, joints, and/or organs inside the body) runs in her family, and the ever-shocking Diva tested borderline positive. Start your bidding to help Lady G find a cure. Times a tickin'!
