Lady Gaga, Pink, Mariah Carey To Appear On New PETA Billboard

The ad — part of the organization's 'Fur-Free and Fabulous' campaign — will be unveiled Tuesday in L.A.

Sure, Lady Gaga's infamous "meat dress" may have drawn the ire of PETA, but that hasn't stopped the animal-rights organization from featuring her — along with fellow icons Pink and Mariah Carey — on a brand-new billboard, set to be unveiled Tuesday in Los Angeles.
It's part of PETA's "Fur-Free and Fabulous" campaign, and, despite the fallout over her Video Music Awards outfit, Gaga was chosen because, as PETA puts it in a press release, "Her anti-fur stance ... has been unwavering."

"Gaga's out-there outfits never include real fur," the statement continued. "Last year, when she wore a dress made of fluffy Kermit the Frog dolls, [she] explained, 'I thought it was commentary on not wearing fur, 'cause I hate fur and don't wear fur.' "

PETA also selected Pink and Carey for the billboard — which will be raised on the corner of Sunset Boulevard and La Brea Avenue in Los Angeles — because of their longtime anti-fur stances. Pink, who recently co-starred with comedian Ricky Gervais in PETA's "Stolen for Fashion" video short, once allegedly called out Beyoncé for wearing fur, and Carey famously donated a pair of full-length Russian sable coats she had received as gifts to PETA, who, in turn, gave them to homeless women at their winter "fur kitchen" event.

With the new billboard, Gaga, Pink and Carey join a list of stars who have teamed with the organization to come out against fur. Last year's "Fur-Free and Fabulous" ad featured Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey.

Lady Gaga Fans Uniting to Make Gaga History

World-renowned artist agrees to create interactive portrait of Lady Gaga when 250,000 fans show support. Gaga fans around the world excited to become part of Lady Gaga history.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) January 20, 2011
At the urging of Lady Gaga fans, world-renowned celebrity artist David Ilan has agreed to create an interactive portrait of Lady Gaga which will unite over a million Gaga fans. Fans of Lady Gaga have been asking Ilan to create a project similar to his Michael Jackson Tribute Portrait, which is the largest Michael Jackson tribute in the world. Ilan announced that he will begin the Lady Gaga project after the first 250,000 fans join.

Ilan said, "I'm a fan of Lady Gaga's music, style and message. A dot portrait of this magnitude will require participation of at least a million fans. I challenge Lady Gaga fans to come together and bring this project alive! If the fans can organize and bring 250,000 fans together, I will begin to draw."

Ilan creates his portraits using only hand-drawn dots on a canvas. In this project, every dot on the canvas will actually represent one of Lady Gaga's fans. Ilan will add a dot for each fan that participates. The end result will be an image of Lady Gaga created by her fans, one dot at a time. One dot equals one fan.

Lady Gaga fans have jumped in head-first to meet the 250,000 fan challenge. An official registration site has been created, http://www.gagadots.com/, where fans all over the world are joining (for free). Blogs are popping up everywhere to encourage fans to join. Fans have also taken to Facebook and Twitter to spread the word about the project.
Ilan is known for including good causes with every project he creates. For example, his project called Points With Purpose, http://www.pointswithpurpose.com/MYPWP/home.php, helps survivors of rape and sexual abuse. Ilan stated that the Lady Gaga project will be no different. He plans on incorporating causes that are important to Lady Gaga, such as gay rights.

Lady Gaga fans everywhere are invited to participate in this history-making project by going to http://www.gagadots.com/ and joining for free.

Lady Gaga Director Loves His Short Film

Mariano Vivanco says, 'It's one of my favorite films I've done.'

Mere hours after completing the edit for the Lady Gaga/Mugler Born This Way collaboration that debuted in full Thursday (January 20), the short film's director, fashion photographer Mariano Vivanco, spoke to MTV News about the film, which not only debuts Nicola Formichetti as the line's creative director, but also gives fans a taste of a fresh Gaga song, remixed especially for Mugler.
The finished version of the track will appear on Gaga's album, to be released in May. Vivanco explained that what was supposed to be a small-scale Formichetti/Vivanco fashion video to display Mugler's new looks became a full-scale music video-like shoot once they knew Gaga would be involved — even if they didn't have the actual song until after they did most of the work.

"OK, I'll be 100 percent honest with you: We didn't get the music until after the video," Vivanco revealed. "Nicola hummed it to me and tried singing it to me. It was hilarious. And described it to me in a really articulate way. He said, 'It's techno meets Whitney Houston, in a really good way.'

"When he described that to me, I thought the best treatment to that would be to film it in slow motion 'cause I think house music with slow-moving images works," he continued. "I filmed a lot of scenes that were in my heart and in my mind."

It's hard to believe that Vivanco hadn't heard the song when he shot the eerie, moody scenes. But, he notes that a lot of the work to mesh the video and audio came in post-production.

After having a few hours to digest the dark, black-and-white art-house music video, Vivanco admitted that he loves the clip and said it was made only more special with the addition of the Gaga track.

"A short film for me is like a relationship: You have to love all the imperfections. Hell, I love the film. I think it's one of my favorite films I've done," he said. "Of course, words can't express the honor that [Gaga] would give us something so nice to work with. When I hear that song, and you hear it live like we did at the show, I'm like, 'She's done it again.' "

So, how does Gaga feel about it? "She called Nicola, and she said she loved the video," Vivanco said. "She's the queen of our times."

Lady Gaga Continues Anderson Cooper Interview In New York

On Wednesday, Lady Gaga was spotted on the Lower East Side of Manhattan filming more footage for her upcoming 60 Minutes interview with Anderson Cooper. The show will air on Grammy night (February 13th) on CBS.

Listen: Gaga Premieres 'Born This Way' Remix at Mugler Fashion Show

At a Thierry Mugler men's fashion show in Paris today (Jan. 19), Lady Gaga premiered a remix of a track off her highly anticipated album, "Born This Way," due May 23.
Turn your speakers up for this one -- the quality is admittedly poor. By the sound of it, the unreleased remix features Gaga chanting the word "Mugler" repeatedly, in addition to speaking German. A translation of the lyrics suggest they read as: "I am absolutely clear/As long as I'm a Monster/I wish we all could be blind/You're amazing out there."

According to show attendees, Lady Gaga was not at the Mugler fashion show, as many originally believed she would be.

Gaga recently confirmed her involvement in the Thierry Mugler show, announcing via her official Twitter account on Jan. 17: "I'm the musical director for the MUGLER fashion show. I'm remixing/previewing a record on Born This Way, tailored for the show + garments."

This is only the first taste of Gaga's collaboration with Mugler. Tomorrow at noon EST time, Mugler creative director Nicola Formichetti will debut a short film scored by Gaga's remix, which will premiere on both Mugler.com and Stylelist.com.

Lady Gaga Previews Born This Way Track

Remix of the song closes Thierry Mugler fashion week show in Paris.

As promised, Lady Gaga previewed a new song during the Thierry Mugler Paris Men's Fashion Week show. Gaga remixed a Born This Way track especially for the show, for which she acted as musical director.

Possible Haus of Gaga member Jay tweeted a link to a YouTube video of the song playing during the models' final walk. "Watch this and f---ing dance," Jay tweeted.
Reflecting the collection, the song is pulsating and dark. Although the audio is muffled, over a throbbing beat, Gaga's voice is heard repeating a phrase in German, which YouTube users translated as: "I'm absolutely clear/ As long as I'm a monster/ I wish we all could be blind/ It would be easier out there."

Gaga was reportedly not at the show. A short film featuring the remixed track, shot by Mariano Vivanco, will appear on Mugler.com and AOL at noon on Thursday.

Prior to the show's kickoff, Gaga expressed her excitement about the collaboration. She wrote, "MUGLER PARIS SHOW begins in 2 hours. I am so excited my fashion bones are rattling. The garments + music are poetic intoxication."
Mugler is helmed by Gaga's stylist, Nicola Formichetti. In an interview prior to the show, Formichetti described how the song fits with his collection for the legendary fashion house.

"It's very, very hard, but pop at the same time. It's really amazing," he said about the track. "When I heard it, I said, 'That's Mugler.' She's remixing it especially for the show."

Of working with his longtime pal Gaga, he added, "It's me and her just having fun and getting very inspired from the idea of Mugler. She's very much involved, more in the early stages.

"I want people to think, 'OK, there's something new happening.' I want people to get excited again, not only fashion people," he added about his work on the brand. "I'm not here to recreate what [Mugler] did. It was perfect for the time. I'm going to do something for today and the future."

This isn't the first time Gaga presented new music at a fashion show. She premiered "Bad Romance" in 2009 at the Alexander McQueen show.

Lady Gaga Makes Music for Thierry Mugler

LADY LUCK: Nicola Formichetti, the new creative director at the Thierry Mugler fashion house and stylist to Lady Gaga, has tapped the pop sensation to create an exclusive soundtrack for his men’s wear show in Paris on Wednesday.

He told WWD that Gaga would be "musical director" for the show, among the most anticipated debuts of Men's Fashion Week, which runs through Jan. 23 in the French capital. Word has it she will remix a never-heard track from her forthcoming album, due out in May.

Formichetti, also an editor and consultant, joined the Paris-based fashion and fragrance firm last September, overseeing two newly engaged designers: Sébastien Peigné, a 10-year veteran of Balenciaga, for women's wear; and Romain Kremer, who has shown experimental looks under his fledgling Paris label since 2005, for men's.

An Internet-savvy dynamo, Formichetti has been planting teaser images online ahead of the men's show, depicting a model coated in black latex and wearing a black biker jacket and spiked metal helmet.

Lady Gaga Rep Debunks Leaked Song Rumor

'The reported leak is not a Gaga record,' rep tells MTV News about 'Animal.'
When a new tune called "Animal" hit the Internet on Friday (January 14), many fans believed that the song was a Lady Gaga leak. Its thumping beat, dance-floor-inspired melody and lyrics about sex could easily be features of a Gaga track. And indeed, the website hosting the alleged leak labeled it a Lady Gaga song.

But fans should know that "Animal" is in fact not a Lady Gaga song. "The reported leak is not a Gaga record," a rep for the singer told MTV News.

On the leaked track, a woman who sounds vaguely like the pop star sings, "I can see the way that you're looking at me/ Like you're hungry and I'm the only thing that you see/ Can't tame you from the way you're watching me/ Baby I'll keep you up all night/ Gonna tie you up/ I'll hit you right/ Animal, animal."
But new Gaga music is on the horizon. Born This Way is set for release on May 23, and Gaga will drop the first single from the album on February 13, the same day she is slated to perform at the Grammy Awards.

Last month Gaga revealed that she would be dropping her hotly anticipated single in February, and she let her little monsters know how excited she is to share the song with them. "Thank you for all of your support and I cannot wait to play you Born This Way. It is killing me," she said, adding that it will be "the greatest album of this decade. ... I promise you, I'll never let you down. And not for nothing: The album's finished and it's f---ing really good."

Why Lady Gaga Will Earn $100 Million in 2011

Whether it’s showing up to an awards ceremony clad entirely in raw meat or nearly suffering a deep-vein thrombosis while wearing a dress made of caution tape on an airplane, Lady Gaga has a knack for making headlines.

She also has a talent for moneymaking. Gaga raked in $64 million last year by our estimate, making her the seventh highest-paid musician in the world, just $1 million behind sixth-ranked Jay-Z. Only U2 ($130 million) and AC/DC ($114 million) crested the $100 million earnings mark.

It’s quite likely that the financially shrewd Gaga will join the elite group by topping $100 million in 2011 — here’s why.
First of all, there’s touring, which should provide the largest chunk of Gaga’s earnings this year. In 2010, her 138-show Monster’s Ball tour grossed $133 million, second to only Bon Jovi on the list of year’s most lucrative tours. Gaga already commands a higher average ticket price ($102) than her New Jersey counterpart ($92), but she’s been playing to crowds of 14,000 on average (compared to Bon Jovi’s 33,000).

Over the next six months, Gaga is scheduled to play 41 shows at 20,000-seat venues like Madison Square Garden in New York and the Staples Center in Los Angeles. If she maintains her average ticket price, that works out to $2 million gross per show, of which she’d likely keep about $800,000 a night after concert promoter fees, security, and other costs. Multiply that by 41 and you get roughly $33 million.

The second half of the year could prove to be even more remunerative as Gaga’s new album, Born This Way, hits stores in June. If sales approach those of her debut The Fame, which moved 12 million copies worldwide, Gaga could easily see $10-$15 million from the album alone. Because she’s both an artist and a songwriter, she’ll also stands to receive an extra-large chunk of money from radio play– a fat publishing check in the U.S. as well as songwriting and performance royalties for spins abroad could add up to another $10-$15 million.

An ultra-successful album would have an even more profound financial impact beyond simple record sales and radio play. ”If the album is a success, she’ll be beyond an arena act by the end of the year,” says entertainment attorney Bernie Resnick, who represents Gaga’s manager, Troy Carter. “She could be a stadium act.”

That means if she goes on the road for the last six months of the year, she could be filling 30,000- and 35,000-seat venues. Perhaps average ticket prices would dip down to a Bon Jovi-esque $90 with more seats available, but even so, that’s means a stratospheric nightly gross in the $3,000,000 range and take-home pay of somewhere around $1,000,000 a day. That’s $45 million for a half-year of touring, bringing the full-year total to nearly $80 million, not counting merchandise, which could easily add another $6-$10 million in profits for an 80-date tour.

Gaga also shills a range of products: video sunglasses for Polaroid, headphones for Beats by Dre, phones for VirginMobile, and a host of items and services via product placement in her videos (a Russian billionaire reportedly paid $1 million to place himself in one of her videos). All these commercial ventures should add at least another $5-$10 million to her coffers.

To be sure, these projections are on the rosy side, as they assume her new album will be a smash success and global macroeconomic conditions will be strong enough that people will continue to dish out $90-$100 a pop for concert tickets. But add it all up: $80-$90 million for touring and merchandise, $20-$30 million for album and radio play, and $5-$10 million for endorsements, meaning Gaga could cross the $100 million threshold with relative ease — and earn as much as $130 million in an absolute best-case scenario. That’s before taxes, management fees, attorney costs, etc, but likely enough to make her the top-earning musician in the coming year.

“She’s just hitting her stride artistically and commercially now,” says Resnick. “We’re only seeing the beginning.”

'Glee' exclusive: Season 2 to feature more Gwyneth and Gaga!

Gleeks, I’ve got such amazing scoop that I almost piddled in my pants when I heard it so I can’t imagine how you’re gonna react: EW has learned exclusively that the phenomenal Gwyneth Paltrow is officially reprising her role as Holly Holliday for TWO episodes of Glee in the spring and she’s gettin’ it on with Mr. Schuester!!! Says co-creator Ryan Murphy, “Gwyneth is coming back for two episodes. She’s coming back specifically to date Will [Matthew Morrison]. Those two have become really good friends in real life and had really good chemistry. She’s coming back as a sex education teacher. Gwyneth and I are emailing, talking every week: What are we gonna sing? We’re trying to do something fantastic. So she’ll be [in episodes] 15 and 16. She comes back [to film] in January and she’s with us for three and a half weeks I think.”

You think that would be enough but I have even more redonkulous news: Lady Gaga just this week gave the Glee producers clearance for tackling her highly anticipated new single, “Born This Way,” which hasn’t even dropped yet! Murphy reveals that the song will be used in a March or April episode and will be centered around closeted gay bully Karofsky (Max Adler). “I love that that song is anthem,” says Murphy. “This show is by nature optimistic and I think a character like Karofsky could turn to booze or pills or alcohol and kill themselves or do something dark. But I also love Max and I love that character and I sorta want that character to have a happy ending. So I don’t really know what that’s going to be, but I do know we’re going to do a whole episode that’s about that song.”

And there’s one more Glee favorite returning: Kristin Chenoweth. She will be back as April Rhodes in the last batch of episodes of the season for a multi-episode arc.

Season 2′s second half is looking awfully good and really, really blonde!

She's adorned her shades with lit cigarettes and covered her peepers with jewel-encrusted spheres, but Lady Gaga's latest pair of sunglasses has taken eyewear to stylish and tech-savvy new heights.

The influential songstress revealed her yearlong "Grey Label" collaboration with Polaroid to a packed room and thousands of fans who tuned into the event via Ustream at the Consumer Electronics Show, or CES, in Las Vegas on Thursday (January 6), and among the spankin' new products is a pair of shades with cameras embedded in the lenses.

Gaga, who took the stage nearly an hour after the publicized start time in a black corseted gown and wispy veil, showed off the innovative specs perched on a bronzed mannequin. Once turned on, tiny twin screens appeared in each lens, and Gaga explained that the futuristic accessories can snap photos and capture video, and are equipped with Bluetooth capabilities and a USB connector.

Mother Monster also showed off a sleek, portable photo printer about the size of a clock radio that allows users to instantly print physical copies of smartphone pics using Bluetooth technology — although the device isn't iPhone compatible. Gaga said the invention was inspired by seeing the legions of concertgoers thrusting camera phones in the air at her shows. She then demonstrated the nifty printer by snapping a picture of the assembled crowd of Gaga-ites and gadget heads — playfully barking, "Smile! You're so f---ing famous! — and brandishing a glossy image minutes later from the mini-machine. According to a Polaroid executive, the product should be available in May.

Gaga also introduced a suitably stylish and social media-friendly revamp of the classic Polaroid instant camera that she said would eventually allow photogs to directly share images on Facebook and Twitter. The product is slated to hit shelves around Christmas.

The Gaga-approved gadgets cap off a year of tinkering at Polaroid, which began when the "Bad Romance" belter was announced as a creative director in January 2010.

"I love the products, I'm so proud to be here," Gaga gushed about developing the gadgets with Polaroid. "They honored me as a woman, as a creative director and they really let me [put my] hands in there and design this sh-- myself."

Gaga at the Oak Room- Someone to Watch Over Me

Lady Gaga Makes Surprise NYC Nightclub Appearance

The Mother Monster sang two jazz standards on Wednesday during a set by her friend, Brian Newman. By Jocelyn Vena
Lady Gaga loves to surprise fans with cameo appearances and performances. And on Wednesday night in New York City, Gaga did it again when she popped up at the Plaza Hotel's famed nightclub, The Oak Room.

Gaga took the stage during a scheduled set by her friend, singer/trumpeter Brian Newman, to perform two jazz standards, "Someone to Watch Over Me" and "Orange Colored Sky." Before Gaga's surprise performance, Newman expressed his excitement over the show, tweeting, "Looking forward to the gig at the @oakroomny @theplazahotel tonight! First show of 2011!!"

For her set, Gaga donned long blond locks and a leather-bandage-style S&M dress along with garters. In a video posted online, Gaga displayed her strong singing ability while forgoing her usual raucous onstage antics as she belted out the tunes for the cheering crowd.

The club's staff posted news of the performance on its Twitter page as it happened, telling fans to come by if they could and keeping those who couldn't in the loop. "Come to the packed @oakroomny @theplazahotel right now to see LADY GAGA — singing, dancing — its amazing!!!" they tweeted. "Lady Gaga @oakroomny right now singing LIVE!!!!!... its packeddd."

It's not the first time that Gaga has surprised Oak Room clubgoers during a show by Newman. Mother Monster also performed at the New York hotspot back in September, wearing a dress made of human hair. "There were no tickets sold," the club said in a statement at the time. "She sang three songs as a surprise gig because she's friends with the musician we have on Wednesdays, Brian Newman."

Lady Gaga and Betty White Go Comic

One is an outrageous pop maven; the other, an octogenarian TV legend. But both are celebrities that captivated the public imagination in 2010 and are subjects of Bluewater Productions' biography comic books releasing this week.

"Fame: Lady Gaga" and "Female Force: Betty White" are scheduled to hit newsstands, comic bookstores and online venues on Wednesday, January 5.

"Fame: Lady Gaga" follows the unknown Stefani Germanotta as she crafted a glam-rock persona and began her climb up the pop music charts with monster hits like "Poker Face" and "Just Dance." The issue also promises to showcase Gaga in some of her more unusual and extraordinary fashion choices as well as her legendary performances.

Veteran actress and comedian Betty White represents a near polar opposite from Gaga. Portrayed in her own biography title, "Female Force: Betty White" readers and fans can trace the career Hollywood's most enduring "it girl" for over sixty astounding years including the unprecedented and highly successful grassroots Facebook campaign to get her to host "Saturday Night Live."

Betty White has starred in dozens of television shows including "The Mary Tyler Moore Show," "The Golden Girls" and most recently "Hot In Cleveland." She has won seven Emmy awards.

"On its face, neither should have anything in common with the other, but once you read their stories, you see the common thread," said Bluewater president Darren G. Davis said of Gaga and White, "They are strong, influential women who have endured personal and professional challenges and have taken the marketing of their brand to whole new levels."

Part of the proceeds from "Female Force: Betty White" will be donated to the actresses favorite charity GLAZA (Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association). White was named chairman of the 65,000 member nonprofit dedicated to nurturing wildlife and the well being of animals in September.

"We are pleased that Ms. White has given the book her blessing and we are proud to support her humanitarian work," said Davis said.

"Female Force: Betty White" was written by Patrick McCray and penciled by Todd Tennant. The title also features two cover alternatives provided by Adam Ellis and Juan Mar Studios.

Fame: Lady Gaga" was written by CW Cooke and penciled by Dan Glasl, inked by Rusty Gilligan. Adam Ellis and Michal Szyksznian provide the two different cover variations.

The suggested retail price (SRP) for the upcoming 32-page comic book is $3.99. To make sure you get your copy, contact your local comic book store to pre-order it. To find a comic book store near you go to www.comicshoplocator.com. These special editions will also be available through several online venues including Amazon.com and the Barnes and Noble and Borders online stores.

Bluewater first published the "Female Force" titles in 2008 as a broad examination of strong and influential women who are shaping modern history and culture. In past issues, the monthly series has featured Michelle Obama, Hillary Clinton, Oprah Winfrey, Margaret Thatcher, JK Rowling, Sarah Palin and others.

The "Fame" series was launched earlier in 2010 as a companion piece to the successful "Female Force" and "Political Power" biography titles. The comic allows Bluewater to delve into the celebrity culture and understand how a person rises to fame, deals with the newfound celebrity and continue to produce in the public eye. That includes actors, sports figures, recording artists and royals.

In the upcoming months the company will soon release comic autobiographies of Glenn Beck, Angelina Jolie, Britney Spears, Beyonce and The Black Eyed Peas.

Lady GaGa 'Had Quiet New Year's Eve' With Luc Carl

Lady GaGa maybe known for her wild style, but the Poker Face singer reportedly had a quiet New Year's Eve with her boyfriend, Luc Carl.

While the rest of us partied well into 2011, GaGa and Carl allegedly enjoyed a low-key celebration with mutual friends at Caliu tapas bar in West Village, New York.

According to Page Six, the Bad Romance hitmaker left the venue before the clock struck midnight, opting to make a swift exit at 11.30pm when diners at the restaurant began to recognise her.

A witness recalled to the publication that Lady G, real name Stefani Germanotta, was dressed in a long, tight-fitting black dress.

GaGa, who is rumoured to be designing her own fetish underwear range, also announced via Twitter on NYE that her highly anticipated album, Born This Way, will be released on 23rd May, with the first single from the new LP hitting shops on 3rd February.

Lady Gaga Is Making Unicorns Happen

The most exciting thing about a photo that is being called Lady Gaga's new album art, which was posted to Nick Knight's ShowStudio blog on New Year's Day and has gone largely unnoticed on the Internet until today, is not that her ass is completely bare in it. No thong, no fishnets, no modesty patches; she is literally, proudly, without bottoms and without cellulite. But that's nothing new. Everyone has seen that by now. (And if you haven't, frankly, we're a little concerned and would recommend you form a new habitat above ground.) What makes this picture truly special is that framed by the words Born This Way on the back of her jacket is a unicorn. If there's one thing the world needs, it's more unicorns, both in the Urban Dictionary and literal senses. The fashion world has flirted with mermaids, but can it ride a unicorn into the dawn of 2011? You can't ride a mermaid — above ground, anyway.

Lady Gaga's Choreographer Films Reality Show

Laurieann Gibson's E! show, tentatively titled 'The Dance Scene,' set for April 10 premiere.

2011 is bound to be a big year for Lady Gaga, and now it seems that her choreographer, Laurieann Gibson, is also poised for a big year. Gibson will star in her own E! reality show, tentatively titled "The Dance Scene," set to premiere in April, EW reports.

The show will follow Gibson as she trains assistant choreographers and dancers to work with celebrities. Ryan Seacrest, who will serve as the show's producer, explains, "Dance is at the center of pop culture — today more than ever — and Laurieann is an amazing force accelerating this huge wave of creativity. This series gives audiences an insider's view of how competitive the dance world is, the talent and ambition that a dancer needs to be successful in the Hollywood scene, and the drama that ensues along the way."
The eight episode docu-series will officially debut April 10.

"The competitive world of the professional dancer is grueling creative work," said Lisa Berger, executive vice president of programming at E!. "Watching Laurieann mentor these young artists, who will do anything to make it in the business, gives us a glimpse into a world where the pursuit of success and excellence outweighs all else."

Gibson most recently worked with Gaga, but has also worked with Diddy and Alicia Keys. She's also tasted reality show life, having appeared on "Making the Band" and "Skating With the Stars."

This week, Gibson tweeted about filming her show, writing, "In London.. Shooting new show on E"!!! Its gonna be Epic.!!"

She later tweeted a photo of her cameramen, adding, "Lookin' good guys! Team BoomKack ... shooting E show in London!!!"

EXCLUSIVE: Lady Gaga Fan With Cancer Passed Away On New Years Day

Lady Gaga not only met with Noelle backstage a her concert, she gave her a pair of her own black studded heels.

"These are your Chemo shoes!" exclaimed Lady Gaga. "Next time you have to go Chemo, walk in there wearing these and remember you are a superstar. No illness can take your inner-beauty or your spirit of life away. You are beautiful!"

The Poker Face singer then sighned the bottom of the shoes before giving Noelle a big hug. She shared her own words of wisdom wth Noelle. "They may say you are sick, but all I feel is how alive your spirit is. Listen to yourself and believe in your will. I want you leaving here loving yourself more than you love me. You are so beautiful."

The Dream Foundation arranged the meeting, and Thomas W. Rollerson wrote about the experience. "Noelle's eyes widened with excitement as Lady Gaga herself entered private waiting room to visit her. She had just danced and sang her booty off for two hours and now she was giving her time to Noelle. And time she gave. Having witnessed many meet and greets, I was thrilled that Lady Gaga shared with me the sense that there was no greater place to be than with Noelle in that moment."

Lady Gaga Was 2010’s Best-Selling Cover Girl, Taylor Swift Was the Worst

Dear magazine editors: Lady Gaga >>>>>>>>>>>>> Taylor Swift. But isn't that obvious without the Audit Bureau of Circulations' latest batch of numbers, summing up who sold and who didn't in 2010? Yes, friends: This is a year-end story that offers some new insights into the power and intrigue of last year's most prolific celebrities rather than just recycled pictures of them in outfits. Fashion- and lady-mag covers featuring Lady Gaga were among the strongest selling across titles last year, while those featuring Taylor Swift were among the worst. Gaga's Rolling Stone cover — which also included the provocative profile of Stanley McChrystal — sold three times as well as the average copy of the magazine in 2010. Her Vanity Fair cover was the magazine's second-best seller, behind Angelina Jolie's. Her Elle cover was the magazine's third-best seller, while her Cosmopolitan cover was the magazine's number-one-selling issue.

However, 2010's other ubiquitous blonde diva Taylor Swift is apparently not nearly as interesting to the fashion-magazine-buying masses. Her April Elle cover was the magazine's worst seller of 2010, while her November Glamour cover was that title's second-worst-selling of last year, and her Marie Claire cover was that magazine's third-worst-selling issue.

Joining Swift in the disappointing-sales ranks is Blake Lively, whose Vogue cover was the magazine's third-worst-selling and whose Esquire cover was the worst-selling of 2010 (she was Allure's best-selling cover girl, though — go figure). And Jessica Simpson may be the overlord of a $1 billion clothing empire, but the issue of Marie Claire on which she posed makeup-less was that title's worst-selling issue of the year.

Fellow girl-who-is-everywhere-all-the-time Rihanna fared much better, though. Her GQ cover was the magazine's second-best seller while her Seventeen cover was that title's best seller. She also did pretty well on Elle, her July cover sales just slightly below average at 285,000 copies. But these numbers prove her appeal to men (or whoever reads GQ), teens, and women.

So it seems the way to sell a lot of magazines these days is to not put girls on covers just because they're blonde, pretty, and everywhere all the time (dear editors: WHY DO WE NEED TO SEE MORE OF THEM AND READ ABOUT HOW FAAAHBULOUS SOME WRITER'S LUNCH WITH THEM WAS, IN WHICH SAID STARLET — GASP — ORDERED FRENCH FRIES?), but women who are provocative, either because when they're not near-naked, they're wearing something that makes them look totally, awesomely insane, or because they run a household with Brad Pitt. But to put it even more basely, America loves (hot) naked people.
