The producers of 'Glee' have paid homage to Lady Gaga before, but they're not done yet.
This weekend, EW.com learned from 'Glee' co-creator Ryan Murphy that the Grammy winner has granted the hit series permission to create new material around her upcoming track, 'Born This Way,' which drops Feb. 13 (just days ago, her "little monsters" learned the release date via a much-hyped New Year's tweet). Gaga's new song will reportedly pop up in an episode this "March or April."
And just how do writers plan to weave the proud, defiant lyrics into the McKinley High storyline? No spoiler alert necessary, but after the jump, find out which supporting character will be in the spotlight when 'Glee' celebrates 'Born This Way.'
In-the-closet bully Karofsky (Max Adler), who already terrified Kurt (Chris Colfer) into transferring schools, is expected to be a central figure in the plot. Not that anyone knows just how that menacing character and Gaga's uplifting tune fit together -- yet.
