When Lady Gaga’s first Vogue cover was published in March 2011, it was an instant hit at newsstands and eventually became the second biggest seller of the year. No wonder Vogue is going with Gaga again, this time for its all-important September cover. According to sources, Gaga has already been shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott to mark the debut of her first fragrance from Coty Beauty, which is set to come out sometime in the fall. The scent may be named Monster, according to reports. When she signed the license in September 2010, Gaga said it would smell of “blood and semen.” Perhaps she’ll tweak that description a bit for the Vogue reader.
