Amy Winehouse denies GaGa collaboration
A representative for Amy Winehouse has dismissed speculation that the singer is working on a musical collaboration with Lady GaGa.
The National Enquirer earlier reported that GaGa had reached out to Winehouse to help her prep a career comeback.
"It’s been agreed that GaGa will go to London in September just before her European tour to help Winehouse with the new album," said a source for the magazine.
However, Winehouse's rep has denied the report, claiming that it is "not true at all".

Days off in the AZ Desert: Cactus fashion + Tequila. Can't make me take off my leather, I would rather faint and die of glamour.
Now that's a crazy outfit! Lady Gaga wears a 'strait jacket' to the airport
Lady Gaga stayed true to her crazy style today.
The singer, 24, was spotted wearing what looked like an oversized strait jacket as she arrived at the airport in Houston, Texas.
The cream coat featured restraining straps and buckles on the shoulders and hem.
The straps were so tight around her knees that Gaga was forced to take small steps in her giant skyscraper heels.
The singer topped off the look with a huge pair of shades and a giant cup of coffee in hand.
Luckily, she had a couple of bodyguards by her side to catch her in case she was tripped up by her own coat.
However, her on-again musician boyfriend Luc Carl, 29, was nowhere to be seen.
But the pair are definitely back together and were spotted snogging in a Houston hotel pool party during her stay.
They began dating five years ago but split before Gaga became famous and recently they've been getting hot and heavy once more.
A source told People.com: 'Gaga's first album is entirely about their relationship and her latest song, You and I, is about how they got back together. They've been in love for a while.'
Currently on tour, Gaga has been having a lot of fun in Texas. Earlier this week, she stopped by Dallas bar, The Round-Up Saloon after her show at the American Airlines Center.
The owners Alan Pierce and Gary Miller first met Gaga when her tour manager contacted them to ask if she could perform a slot in summer 2008.
They said they weren't keen, as 'the next Madonna' wasn't the usual type of act to perform at the bar.
But the two gave Gaga a chance and she played a couple of songs.
Two years later she was back in the city as part of her world tour, and surprised them by booking out the roof area and arriving with her 15-strong entourage, including her mother, to celebrate her whirlwind success.
Alan told Thecount.com: 'She was nice and wonderful now, as she was before she became a big star.'

Susan Boyle and Lady Gaga to duet at last?
It's on. Our sources say that Lady Gaga may have convinced the Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle to duet with her for a forthcoming single, which may be released around Christmas 2010.
After all, why not? Gaga has recorded with all of the biggest diva's of our era: Madonna and Beyonce, for example, so why not Boyle?
Can you imagine our Susan throwing shapes in one of Gaga's bizarro music videos?
A Christmas video featuring the eccentric but adorable pair would be our brightest holiday wish. The question is, is this a match made in heaven or are they caught in a Bad Romance?

Lady Gaga Teaming Up With Amy Winehouse?
LADY GaGa is set to help Amy Winehouse get her career back on track!
The Poker Face hitmaker has apparently offered to duet with the troubled British star for a track on her eagerly-awaited third album.
“It’s been agreed that GaGa will go to London in September just before her European tour to help Winehouse with the new album, her first release since 2006,” a source told American tabloid the National Enquirer.
“Lady GaGa sees Amy as a kindred spirit — the British bad girl and the American bad girl!”
GaGa has previously praised the Rehab singer.
“Amy is a real artist. I get frustrated when I tour so much that my voice is messed up,” she said last year.
“But I always say to myself that I watch performances from Amy where I swear she didn’t hit a note, and she was shot and shot deep on something, but I can’t take my eyes off that beautiful girl. There’s something about her that’s so honest.
“That was what the Seventies and Eighties were about, and what women were about then, and that’s why legends were created. It wasn’t about manicures.
“When I’m on stage I genuinely black out. Or when I’m on daytime TV I can’t believe women are sitting at home, knitting, and watching me, because I look genuinely certifiable.”

Lady Gaga exercises in high heels
Lady Gaga's fitness trainer knew he had a challenge on his hands when he first met his quirky client - the pop star was playing basketball in high heels.
The pop superstar approached celebrity fitness guru Harley Pasternak last year to tone up her body in preparation for her exhausting The Monster Ball tour.
But he got a shock when he turned up to train the kooky singer and saw she was wearing a very unsuitable outfit for the gym.
He tells Britain's Heat magazine, "She came to me because she wanted to find a lifestyle that was healthy and something she could handle while she was on the road. I'll never forget the time I looked out of office door and there was was. She was dressed in a pair of 12-inch heeled boots, shooting basketball hoops."
Pasternak also learned that Gaga has a sweet tooth - so he created a line of healthy snacks to mail to the star while she travels the world.
He adds, "She loves potato chips and peanut butter so I was inspired to create a line of potato chips and peanut butter bars that we ship to her wherever she goes."

Lady Gaga's Poolside Makeout Session
It looks like Lady Gaga's relationship with on-off boyfriend Luc Carl is anything but a bad romance.
After all, the "Paparazzi" singer was spotted by the, er, paparazzi on Monday using her poker face to suck face with him during a pool party at the St. Regis Hotel in Houston, Texas.
OK, enough with the lame song references.
Let's just say it's kinda nice for a change to see Gaga temporarily free herself from her wacky wardrobe to simply kick back, relax and spend some time not being Gaga.
Then again, the sight of her wading in the water dressed in any of her crazy couture outfits would actually be pretty spectacular too.

Pop icon Lady Gaga has been plastered on every magazine publication, TV station and product. What’s more, she has become one of the biggest controversial celebrities out on the scene right now. So, it’s hardly a surprise seeing the Lady GaGa WestEast Magazine Summer 2010 cover.
Shot by photographer Stuart Semple, the cover page features Lady Gaga dolled up with computer graphics. She’s hardly recognizable with bright neon lips and hair, but it’s the eyes that give it away. Can’t wait to see the full spread!

Lady Gaga Interlude Video Hits YouTube
It's been out for a while, but the Official Video came out this week on Youtube.
Lady Gaga fans who have experienced shows on her Monster Ball tour are probably familiar with the two-minute, ten-second video clip that plays during the "Puke Vomit Exorcist Interlude" between songs. But for those who haven't been lucky enough to make it to the Ball, the clip has been released on YouTube.
The video features twisted body parts, glitter puke, a bloody snack and a disturbing make-up job - things not terribly shocking, coming from Gaga. With pumping bass, high-fashion shots and a penchant for making the ugly seem beautiful, it's no wonder this clip has garnered much hype.

Lady Gaga's Bathroom Tryst with Duchamp
Perhaps the 20th century’s most notorious artist, Marcel Duchamp is often grouped with the Dada movement, though the artist was never a card-carrying member of any circle other than his own. Now, however, he's finally been swept up by an irresistible force: the Gaga movement. For a show at London's SHOWstudio.com gallery, Lady Gaga — already more famous than the readymade creator will ever be — has signed the side of a urinal with the inscription, "I’m not fucking Duchamp but I love pissing with you." The work, entitled "Armitage Shanks," is on view as part of a show called "Inside/Out" — and the price is available only on request.
Other artists in the show Gaga collaborator Terence Koh, whose mixed media sculpture "The Whole Family" is priced at £34,000 ($52,000), and Marilyn Minter, whose “Green Pink Caviar” DVD is on offer for a comparatively modest £35 ($54). Deeper-pocketed Minter fans can pick up a limited-edition print of the artist’s 2008 “Gimme” photograph for £8,000 ($12,300). The work shows a detail view of an open mouth, lips adorned with pink lipstick.
Those looking for something to add to their Gaga reliquary may also be interested in a piece called "Pleated Puke," a pleated white dress made by Marko Mitanovski that the pop princess wore in the 2009 fashion film "Puke on Gaga."

*RUMOR* Lady Gaga - Dance In The Dark, New Single
Source: http://onlyvipmedia.blogspot.com/
We earlier today recieved information, something we published sometime ago, "Dance in the Dark" will in fact be the 4th single in Australia from Lady Gaga. Now the news broke down that the rest of the world would be following soon. The label is announcing it officially soon, but some radios are already playing the song as her next single, a follow-up to "Alejandro" that has been another hit for her worldwide. The official release date is planned towards the end of August but there is no official information just yet. Her "The Remix" album is to be released in US on August 3rd. We look forward to the announcement about a video, because this track needs one.
It was rather expected for the label to continue the era with another single, since the next album and it's first single are expected to be promoted early next year, after the tour commitments are over.

The Live Your Life hitmaker, who has hit the top of the charts with Rihanna, Usher and Justin Timberlake collaborations, now has plans to Lick It! with the Poker Face hitmaker.
He tells In Touch magazine, "I'm still trying to make that manifest. I think it's an odd enough combination, but I think that both of us are able to diversify.

Lady Gaga, Nick Knight Partner in Duchamp Tribute
The legendary Marcel Duchamp readymade, Fountain, has gotten a brand new (poker) face. Pop diva Lady Gaga has teamed up with photographer Nick Knight to create a tribute to the infamous urinal.
Armitage Shanks is pretty much the same as the original, except branded with Lady Gaga’s Midas touch. Instead of the “R. Mutt” inscription on Duchamp’s piece, this one has “I’m not f*cking Duchamp but I love pissing with you” written by the iconic singer.
The artwork falls under Knight’s own SHOWStudio catalog, but as New York Magazine reports, it isn’t for sale.

Tea Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga is reportedly at the centre of a bidding war by tea firms who are desperate for her to promote their famous brands.
Lady Gaga is at the centre of a bidding war by tea firms who want her to be the face of their drink.
The 'Alejandro' singer - who is well known for her love of the hot beverage - is reportedly being pursued by several major companies who want her to be their brand ambassador.
So far, distinguished English firm Twinings is the most determined to bag the contract with the eccentric pop star.
They have made a multi-million pound offer to her management and have also instructed expert tea makers to invent a new oriental flavour especially for Gaga which they hope will appeal to her fans and younger drinkers around the globe.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Her management have received a load of offers from major tea companies but Twinings are the frontrunners.
"They want to launch a new tea with her face on it. Names like The Taste Of Gaga are being batted about. The idea is to have tasting sessions in which she would participate.
"The tasters are coming up with a tea with an oriental flavour. They want to market tea to a new, younger generation - particularly in America. Gaga is making drinking tea cool again."
The 24-year-old star - real name Stefani Germanotta - is often pictured sipping tea from her favourite cup and saucer set and rarely travels anywhere without it.
She threw a huge tantrum last year when she lost the teacup.
The 'Poker Face' singer accidentally left the blue flowered cup at a restaurant in London's Metropolitan Hotel and sent a taxi on a £35 round trip from her suite at Blakes Hotel to collect it.
A source said: "She kicked up a fuss and demanded someone get her cup and saucer back.
"She wouldn't drink out of anything else. It just looked like any other cup and saucer and said 'Made in China' on the bottom. It seemed a lot of fuss over nothing."

Lady Gaga Exhibits First Artwork
LADY GAGA has made her debut as an artist with her first piece of work exhibited in London.
The pop star donated a sculptural piece to the SHOWstudio.com shop in the British capital for a show titled Inside/Out.
The work consists of a white urinal lying on its side, with an inscription in black pen on the inner basin, reading: "I'm not f**king Duchamp but I love p**sing with you" - a reference to Marcel Duchamp's famous 1917 urinal Fountain sculpture.
The piece, named Armitage Shanks, is thought to have been picked up by the singer during a recent photoshoot for Vogue Hommes Japan, which saw her pose as a man.
The exhibition also features a video of the singer taken by famed photographer Nick Knight, according to Vogue.co.uk.

Shortly after St. Louis show, Gaga tweets.
Tonight love and hate met in St. Louis. And love outnumbered the hate, in poetic thousands. Hate left. But love stayed. + Together, we sang.
Saturday, July 17, 2010
Lady Gaga Tweets before St. Louis Show, July 17th.
"At the risk of drawing attention to a hateful organization, I would like to make my little monster fan aware of a protest being held outside the Monsterball in St.Louis tonight. Although we have had protesters before, as well as fundamentalists at the show this group of protesters are hate criminals and preach using lude and violent language and imagery that I wish I protect you all from. Their message is of hatred and divisiveness, but inside at the Monsterball we preach love and unity. My request to all little monsters and public authority is to pay these hate criminals no mind. Do not interact with them, or try to fight Do not respond to any of their provocation. Don't waste your words, or feelings, no matter what you hear or see you are more fortunate and blessed than they are, and in your heart just pray for them. Although I respect and do not judge anyone for their personal views on any politics or religion, this group in particular to me, is violent and dangerous I wanted to make my fans aware of my views on how to approach, or rather not approach, these kinds of hate activists. Be inspired to ignore their ignorant message, and feel gratitude in your heart that you are not burdened or addicted to hate, as they are." X

Lady Gaga is house-hunting.
The Poker Face hitmaker has reportedly been perusing properties in the Hamptons, New York.
According to the New York Daily News, GaGa has shown an interest in a $26 million, eight-bedroom, eight-bathroom English Country-style estate on Parsonage Lane in Sagaponack that sits on 7.5 acres.
The property includes a 9,353- square-foot, shingle-style main residence, a 1,483-square-foot carriage house and a 1,379-square-foot recreational pavilion, the News reports.
Amenities include media and wine rooms, a sauna, gym, pool and sunken tennis court. A restored 18th-century barn also sits on the lot, which abuts reserved farm fields that would provide additional seclusion for the star.
GaGa has previously revealed that she doesn’t own her own home — and practically lives out of a suitcase.
“I live on stage. I don’t own a house, I don’t spend money on those things,” she said.
“I live out of a suitcase and I make music and art and I spend every dollar that I make on stage — that’s it.”

Lady Gaga Says She Wrote 'A #1 Record' In Cleveland
Gaga told her audience Wednesday night that she'd spent the day in her bus writing a new hit.
When Lady Gaga took the stage at Cleveland's Quicken Loans Arena on Wednesday night, she managed not to discuss the town's recently departed superstar LeBron James. But she did announce to the sold-out crowd that earlier in the day, she had written a brand-new song that was destined to be a hit.
"I wrote a #1 record in Cleveland," she told her throngs of little monsters, according to The Cleveland Plain Dealer, adding that she had skipped a private tour of the city's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to work on the song in her tour bus recording studio.
Earlier in the day, she took to her Twitter account to proclaim the same thing, writing, "Emerging from studio coma. Voted no visit to RockNRoll Hall of Fame, rather write a hit that puts me in it."
Gaga didn't actually play the song in question, but she did rip through a rousing version of "You and I," the new song she premiered at Elton John's White Tie and Tiara Ball last month and has been performing at Monster Ball stops ever since. In theory, it's all leading up to Gaga's much-anticipated new album, which, according to a recent Rolling Stone interview, is totally finished but won't be released until "early next year."
Gaga also told the magazine that she plans on getting the title of the album tattooed on her body and then releasing the photo at midnight on New Year's Eve.

Lady Gaga Will Be A Lollapalooza 'Centerpiece,' Perry Farrell Says
By James Montgomery, with reporting by Sasha Hamrogue
Perry Farrell remembers Lady Gaga's 2007 set at Lollapalooza, a sweaty, Saturday-afternoon affair that saw the then-brunet, yet-to-conquer-the-globe Gaga parade around in little more than a disco-ball bra and thigh-high stockings. He was impressed, but needless to say, he never thought he'd see the day she'd be headlining the fest.
"I remember ... she's got dark-brown hair, she's in a bikini, and she's wearing thigh-highs and she's sweating, because she was on at around 3 o'clock," Farrell told MTV Radio. "Her music was cool, her show was kind of cool, but now, the production of her music, the people she's surrounded herself with, the development of her stage show ... it's something that, when I think about Lollapalooza, in that gorgeous setting of [Chicago's] Grant Park, with the amazing buildings all around us, lit up, I see her and her show as being a centerpiece to the evening."
Yes, from side-stage curiosity to mainstage must-see, Gaga has come a long way in three short years, and Farrell — who's already said that Lollapalooza will spend six figures to accommodate her massive Monster Ball stage — sees it as his obligation to help her continue on that climb. But he's hoping the Lolla crowds won't just focus on her stage show. After all, her music is pretty great too.
"Her presentation is so overwhelming that some may overlook the music ... but the truth is, her music, to me, is right where music should be. It's on the cutting edge, but it's [also] in the crosshairs of where every musician is aiming these days," he said. "She's this hybrid of Yoko Ono, sort of the Plastic Ono Band meets Madonna meets Elton John. She's this beautiful crossing of those things [that] every musician is looking to find. Everyone's looking for that sound, and I think she really hits it."
And though he realizes that not all Lolla fans are necessarily "little monsters," he also hopes they'll be won over by her set. After all, that's sort of what Lollapalooza has been doing since it first started back in 1991: introducing kids to new artists, new scenes and, most importantly, new sounds.
"We're going to help her deliver it, just the way we did in 1991, when people didn't go to rap concerts because they might be considered very dangerous," he said. "[Back then,] a lot of those kids who went to Lollapalooza might not have seen Ice-T, but then, there he was. Same with Ice Cube. And that's one of the things I guess I could say I pride myself in: I'm able to bring music that people are very curious about, and once they meet this music, they'll really dig it."

Lady Gaga spends fortune on rent
Lady Gaga is splashing out $25,000 a month to rent a house.
The 'Paparazzi' singer is renting a $5 million mansion in the affluent Bel Air neighborhood of Los Angeles.
According to reports, the multi-bedroom property comes with one acre of grounds, a huge swimming pool and boasts stunning views across Hollywood and the Pacific Ocean.
But with Gaga - who recently rekindled her relationship with ex-boyfriend Luc Carl - on tour until April 2011, the house will be sitting empty for some time.
However, the rent should not be a problem for the eccentric singer as it was revealed last month a fan paid her $1 million to appear in her latest music video.
A Russian billionaire, known only as Arkady, gave the 24-year-old pop singer the huge sum to star alongside her in the nine-minute promo for 'Alejandro'.
The wealthy admirer can be spotted in the video playing a cop dressed in a black leather hat and coat.

Lady Gaga has reportedly reconciled with her ex-boyfriend.
The 'Alejandro' singer separated from barman Luc Carl a number of years ago but she has decided to give their relationship another chance.

In the lyrics to 'You and I', the 24-year-old pop star sings: "It's been a long time but I'm back in town/But this time I'm not leaving without you. You taste like whiskey when you kiss me oooh, I'll give up anything again to be your baby doll, Yeah this time I'm not leaving without you."

Lady Gaga draws record crowd of 20,000 to Rockefeller Plaza
by Mike Celizic
TODAYshow.com contributor She crooned, she rocked, she sparkled, she crawled on the stage in the rain. And when she was done, the largest crowd ever to pack Rockefeller Plaza for a concert screamed and chanted her name.
“Ga-ga! Ga-ga! Ga-ga!”
Since erupting from the New York City music scene three years ago, the flamboyant Lady Gaga has sold 25 million single songs and put out two triple-platinum albums. She has 5 million followers on Twitter and 10 million on Facebook — the most of any person on earth. She holds the record for most YouTube views.
But success has not appeared to spoil the 24-year-old gigastar. She sent pizzas to fans who waited overnight on the sidewalks of New York to get good positions at the concert. During her last number, a summer squall, as if on cue, drenched her, her backup group and the crowd. And Lady Gaga, in the finest tradition of rock ’n’ roll, embraced the rain as if it was a gift from heaven.
“Let it rain. Let it pour. You can’t stop us,” she interjected into her last song, “Teeth.” At the number’s end, she rolled on the sodden stage and bellowed into her mic:
“Thank you, New York. I love you. Thank you for changing my life and making my dreams come true.”
An estimated 20,000 spangle-eyed fans screeched their approval. They had started lining up more than 33 hours earlier, some coming from as far as Ireland and South Africa to see their idol. Two people in the crowd were taken to Bellevue Hospital with minor cases of heat exhaustion, The New York Times reported.
A special song
The former Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta showed her range and versatility with a performance that began with her crooning the Gershwin standard “Someone to Watch Over Me” as she descended from a fog-shrouded platform onto a blindingly white stage highlighted with electric blue.
In addition to the Gershwins, her performance paid homage to Madonna’s costuming, Elton John’s eccentric eyewear, John Lennon’s songwriting and Jerry Lee Lewis’ penchant for playing the piano with his foot.
And as a special treat she had promised her legions of “little monsters,” she sang a new song, “You and I,” that she’s performed in concert in the past several weeks but won’t release on an album until the end of the year.
“ ‘You and I’ was written about the most important person that I ever met,” Gaga told TODAY’s Meredith Vieira and Ann Curry. She didn’t say who that person was, but it has been reported in People magazine and elsewhere that it’s Luc Carl, the boyfriend she has recently reconciled with.
Love for the fans
Just a few years ago, before she hit it big, the flamboyant performer was living in a cheap apartment in New York, experimenting with drugs and writing songs. Now she is a bona fide pop icon. Vieira asked if she had absorbed it all yet.
“No, I haven’t, but I love and cherish my friends so much. I just want to say a big ‘thank you’ to all the television and radio people and the underground clubs and the gay community for supporting me the past three years, and all the records you guys bought. I love you and I just cherish you forever,” she said.
Lady Gaga sat at a pure-white grand piano as she spoke, delicately sipping tea from a china cup on a saucer — no clunky water bottles for her. It was all part of the colorful stage persona she’s created. But, she said, outside of her performances, she rarely goes out.
“I stay in my hotel room and I write music,” she said.
She then put on a pair of rhinestone glasses that resembled enormous insect eyes and launched into “You and I.” As it came to a close, she stood and banged on the keys with her foot, and then vaulted on top of the piano to sing and play the final chords.
Then, in what seemed like seconds, she changed from an all-white outfit to a Madonna-esque black costume. As she launched into her hit “Alejandro,” she addressed her fans by her pet name for them.
“This one’s for you, little monsters!”

Lady Gaga gets nostalgic at NY homecoming
By Mariel Concepcion Mariel Concepcion – Thu Jul 8, 6:49 am ET
NEW YORK (Billboard) – Lady Gaga may be best known for her gaudy outfits and over-the-top stage shows, but at her hometown headlining debut at Madison Square Garden Tuesday, the pop phenomenon proved she's a regular girl at heart.
Although extravagant attires (including a nun-like transparent getup with two pieces of white tape on her chest), fake blood and sparks-shooting bras were still front and center, Gaga also made it a priority to show her gratitude by dedicating songs to her father, her fans, her native New York City and her friends.
"My name is Lady Gaga, and I used to sit right over there, way far in the back and way up top," she said, pointing toward the top left side of the venue. "I saw Madonna, Cher, the Rolling Stones, Elton John, KISS. I used to stare at this side of the room, and I used to think, 'I'm gonna be up there,'" she declared, gazing at her own elaborate stage. "So, every second you watch me on this stage, you remember I was sitting where you are," Gaga said as the sold-out room roared in response.
Later in the show, Gaga dedicated a soaring performance of "Speechless" to her father, who was in the audience -- one of the highlights of the evening. "I remember when he would carry my piano down the four flights of our walk-up when I had shows," Gaga recalled about her father's support during the early part of her career. "Of all the drunk men in my life, Dad, you're my favorite," she half-jokingly said as she dragged her high-heeled boots on the piano.
Gaga's two-hour long concert was the first of three Monster Ball shows taking place this week in New York -- she also played Wednesday and was due to play Friday. During her show, the star, her supporting cast and friend Posh -- whom Gaga said once shared an apartment with her in Manhattan's Lower East Side -- enacted a trip around all over her beloved city, from Brooklyn to LES and Central Park by car, train and down a glittery road to make their way to the Monster Ball. "The monster ball will set you free!" she shouted. "Little monsters reign supreme!"
"Without New York, I would not exist," Gaga declared. "But I also would not exist without my friends. They were there with me through alcohol, bad boyfriends, girlfriends," she added before passionately performing her emotional new song "You and I" in dedication to them.
Gaga also sang "Just Dance" early in the night and toward the end hit "Alejandro," "Telephone" and "Paparazzi," as the octopus-like Fame Monster taunted her.
"We did it, little monsters," she told the crowd after the night's closing number, "Bad Romance." "We made it to the Monster Ball! We made it to Madison Square Garden," she said with a sense of triumph. "Thank you for making my dream come true. I love you so much."

Lady Gaga Wows The Garden
Lady Gaga wowed her fans at her sell-out show at Madison Square Garden in New York last night (06.07.10), the first of three sell-out homecoming concerts.
Lady Gaga played a triumphant homecoming concert at New York's Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night (06.07.10).
The 'Alejandro' singer became emotional during the show explaining to her adoring fans how she used to watch other great acts from the audience.
She said "My name is Lady Gaga and I used to sit right over there, way far in the back and way up top... I used to stare at this side of the room, and I used to think, 'I'm gonna be up there.'
"Every second you watch me on this stage, you remember, I was sitting where you are."
The stage set seemed to be influenced by the streets of New York and featured a battered old subway car and a gritty urban landscape and Gaga underwent a number of costume changes during the night including one burlesque-inspired leopard print latex dress.
At one stage in the set, the flamboyant pop star dedicated the song 'Speechless' to her father in the audience for helping her achieve her music dream.
She said: "Of all the drunk men in my life, dad, you're my favourite."
Closing the concert with her hit single 'Bad Romance', a clearly emotional Gaga was still on a high.
She said "We did it, little monsters. We made it to the Monster Ball! We made it to Madison Square Garden."
The 24-year-old star - real name Stefani Germanotta - took to twitter earlier in the day to express her excitement at bringing her 'Monster Ball' tour to her home city.
She tweeted "Today is what dreams are made of. 3 Sold out nights at MSG in my home town. I used to go watch Madonna, Cher + the Stones and would cry. I would stare into the brightlights and imagine I could do anything. Be anything. And I would tell myself it would be me up there one day. (sic)"
